foodpanda, Pakistan’s leading online delivery network, has officially launched its Winter Initiatives, a comprehensive rider welfare drive to wrap its fleet in support, as the cold sets in.

As part of this campaign, the company is distributing over 12,000 high-quality winter jackets and mittens to its valued delivery partners nationwide.

This initiative is a heartfelt tribute to the company’s heroes on wheels, the backbone of delivery operations, who face the cold and unpredictable weather every day to bring comfort to customers’ doorsteps.

Beyond protective gear, foodpanda has introduced Soup & Tea Stations at key pandaMarts across Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. These stations serve as small retreats of warmth, offering riders hot refreshments to help them stay energised and find a moment of comfortable rest during long working hours in the cold.

Additionally, in a meaningful collaboration with the Akhuwat Foundation, the company is distributing jeans to riders as part of the Winter Care initiative, adding an extra layer of protection against the elements.

To celebrate the resilience of the fleet, foodpanda has launched an Order Driven Winter Challenge across seven cities. This campaign is designed to honour the extraordinary spirit and dedication shown by those who keep Pakistan moving.

Riders achieving the highest number of orders during the campaign period will win brand-new cell phones. More than 100 top-performing riders will be rewarded with mobile phones as a token of appreciation for their tireless motivation and the sacrifices they make during the winter season.

Highlighting the company’s continuous commitment to its fleet, Ahsan Malik, Head of Logistics foodpanda, stated, “Our riders are more than just the backbone of our quick commerce and food delivery operations, going up against various weather conditions every day to serve our customers. They are truly the heartbeat of foodpanda. Every day, they face the elements with extraordinary dedication to serve our communities. Ensuring their safety and comfort, especially during the colder months, is our utmost priority and a core part of our commitment to their welfare across the country.”

By ensuring riders are adequately protected, nourished and recognised, foodpanda aims to create a working environment that is defined by dignity and care.

This multi-faceted initiative underscores the importance of foodpanda’s delivery partners to the overall success of the platform’s operations.
