Talha Bhatti, The Tech-Influencer
Talha is on a mission to save Pakistanis from overpriced subscriptions and useless gadgets. When he’s not reviewing the latest tech or sharing his favourite escapes from the daily grind, he’s keeping it real about his fitness journey—and we can’t get enough of his hilarious take on it! So, sit back, relax, and dive into the world of tech with the one and only Talha Bhatti!
Synergyzer: With over 621,000 followers, you’ve built an impressive community around your tech reviews and vlogs. Take us back to the beginning—what sparked your passion for tech, and how did your journey as a content creator begin?
Talha Bhatti: You may not believe this, but I started my Instagram account out of spite. I had a well-paying remote job in Germany, which I really loved, but they let me go during COVID.
That was the day I decided to take things into my own hands and never rely on anyone ever again. I have been working as a solo creator ever since.
Synergyzer: Your content seamlessly blends tech reviews, travel vlogs, and promotions of local businesses. What’s your strategy for balancing these different content types, and how do you ensure your audience stays engaged across such diverse topics?
Talha Bhatti: I really like to experiment with different types of content. Sticking to a specific niche is a good thing, but you also need to share your other interests to foster a deeper connection with your audience.
Synergyzer: Congratulations on launching Bhatti Biryani and fulfilling your mother’s dream! With you and Hamza Bhatti blending tech and food expertise, how do your strengths complement each other? Also, what’s your vision for expansion, and how will you leverage your online presence for growth?
Talha Bhatti: My brother and I are always discussing different ways to improve our content. We have both faced significant failures in life, which is why our collective experience was invaluable when launching Bhatti Biryani.
Our goal is to make Bhatti Biryani the biggest biryani brand in Pakistan. I know it will take decades, but we are willing to put in the work.
Synergyzer: Your fans appreciate your honesty, especially about your weight and fitness journey. While you joke about indulging in food during your travels, you also prioritise health. How do you balance your love for food and travel with your fitness goals?
Talha Bhatti: To be honest, I don’t rely on willpower because I love food way too much. Instead, I focus on creating a system. Not having chocolate in the house is far easier than resisting it when it’s right in front of you. Out of sight, out of mind!
Synergyzer: Your fans love your resourcefulness, from tech tweaks to creative workarounds. You’ve built a reputation for finding clever hacks—can you share a favourite that your audience would love?
Talha Bhatti: Let me share the best hack for finding any kind of content—the save button on Instagram. Create folders for each topic you’re interested in and organise them weekly, extracting the best ideas for your own content.
Synergyzer: Your followers love your tech reviews and unboxings. Does your home reflect this passion, or do you prefer simplicity?
Talha Bhatti: I love tech and try to incorporate it into every aspect of my life. And yes, these gadgets genuinely help me in my day-to-day routine.
Synergyzer: With the digital space crowded with influencers, what’s your secret to standing out and keeping your audience engaged?
Talha Bhatti: Be yourself! Everyone is unique in their own way. Show your personality in everything you do, as that’s what makes your content truly yours.
Synergyzer: What are your thoughts on AI-generated content? Do you see it as a threat or an opportunity for creators like yourself?
Talha Bhatti: The way AI is progressing, in a year, you won’t be able to differentiate AI-generated content from what is real. However, there will always be a place for human-created content because of the personality you bring to it.
Synergyzer: Pakistani content creators have progressed, but we still lag behind. What’s holding us back, and which key areas need focus to close the gap?
Talha Bhatti: There is far better content in Pakistan than ever before, but yes, there is still plenty of room for improvement. Many industries, like finance, remain virtually untapped.
What we need is a proper community of creators who can support new content creators, helping them grow faster and learn how to monetise their content.
Synergyzer: As a successful content creator, what advice would you give to aspiring influencers and YouTubers in Pakistan looking to build their brand and audience?
Talha Bhatti: Start a business first, then create content around it. Due to extremely low CPMs in Pakistan, content creation can be a highly volatile career.
