3rd May 2019, World Press Freedom Day

3rd May signifies Freedom of Press.

‘What is freedom of press?’ was creatively brought up in a video by UNESCO in 2018. The ad video wanted the viewer to imagine a mere 25 seconds of what it would be like if the press was not free.

The examples that the video discussed were:

  1. Which country has the worst record of human right abuses?
In a world without freedom of press, would redirect the search to ‘Access Denied’ page
  2. Protest happening now after elections rigged
Would redirect you to ‘Oops, your internet connection has been shut down

Or the most hilarious one yet,

3. ‘Most popular president ever’, President says.

Imagine and then pay tribute to World Press Freedom Day.
