With a proven track record of over 100 high-impact campaigns, AdPulse IMC continues to redefine how brands scale and succeed. In this exclusive feature, we sit down with Khurram Jaffrani, CEO of AdPulse IMC Pvt Ltd, to discuss his vision for driving growth through innovative, results-driven marketing.
Synergyzer: You have made a big transition from print to electronic media. How did AdPulse IMC come into being?
Khurram Jaffrani: My journey began in my father’s iron and steel business, but I was drawn to something more dynamic. In 2000, I joined a magazine launch team and also worked at a printing press. By 2002, I was in the Pakistan Observer marketing department, later becoming General Manager.
In 2013, I moved to TNI as Director of Business Development, and then back to a newspaper job as Group Director, organising major conferences and launching “China — The Peace Maker”. In 2017, I held a key event marking Pakistan-Japan ties, earning a spot at AOTS in Tokyo. Later, I joined a UN conference in Vienna.
After nearly three years as GM at 92 News, I launched AdPulse IMC. With over two decades of experience, I was ready to build a media agency focused on storytelling and innovation. Alhamdulillah, the journey has been fulfilling.
Synergyzer: Where does AdPulse IMC stand today?
Khurram Jaffrani: AdPulse IMC is now a leading integrated media agency, headquartered in Karachi and operating nationwide. We’re proud members of the Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) and PBA Digital, APNS. government and builders, and known for our 360-degree marketing solutions — from strategy to execution.
We’ve executed over 100 projects for 30+ brands in pharma, FMCG, IT, construction, textiles, and more. What sets us apart is the impact we deliver: helping clients connect better, boost visibility, and grow their market share.
Today, AdPulse is a problem-solving agency, focused on tailored strategies and sustainable success. Our strength lies in innovation, teamwork, and a client-first approach.
Synergyzer: How has media and advertising changed since you started?
Khurram Jaffrani: The biggest change? It’s all about ideas now. Budgets used to matter most, but today, creativity leads. A great concept can outshine big spending.
One standout example is MTJ’s launch. The idea, not just the budget, drove its success. We didn’t need external support; the concept was powerful on its own.
Audiences today crave authenticity and creativity. Traditional media alone isn’t enough. You need integrated strategies across digital, social, and experiential platforms. Success now comes from originality and execution. With AI reshaping content creation and audience targeting, brands can craft hyper-personalised experiences that resonate deeper and scale faster than ever before. Embracing AI-driven insights allows for sharper strategies, making creativity not just impactful but unstoppable.
Synergyzer: What makes AdPulse IMC different?
Khurram Jaffrani: Our USP is idea-led execution. We focus on crafting strong concepts and delivering them with smart production and placement. That’s why we win major projects over bigger names.
The MTJ event is a prime example. The idea carried it to success locally and globally, no big partnerships needed. Creativity and precision define our work.
Synergyzer: What challenges do you face, and how do you tackle them?
Khurram Jaffrani: Event-based agencies face logistical hurdles, especially when state support is inconsistent. Rivalries and unfair tactics are also part of the game.
But we rely on teamwork and resilience. Our 22-member team stays humble and lets results speak. We value transparency, careful planning, and adaptability. When problems arise, we find quick, effective solutions.
Client satisfaction drives us. We see every project as a learning opportunity, refining our approach with each experience.
Synergyzer: What’s your message to Pakistan’s youth?
Khurram Jaffrani: Pakistan is a land of opportunity, brimming with untapped potential and space for bold ideas. This is your time to innovate, create, and lead. Don’t wait for change, be the change. From startups to social impact, there’s room to grow and shape the future.
Be fearless, be driven, and build not just for yourself but for your people. Your ideas can spark movements. Your actions can define a generation. That’s how you build a lasting legacy in a country full of promise.
Synergyzer: You have received awards for community engagement. What do they mean to you?
Khurram Jaffrani: I’m humbled to receive the Japanese Commendation Award from the Council General of Japan, Mr Toshikazu Isomura, the Award by President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi, Appreciation Awards from IGP Sindh, Ghulam Nabi Memon and DIG Security Dr Maqsood Ahmed. These honours reflect our agency’s values: service, professionalism, and innovation.
The SSU recognised our work on two national events, the Independence Day Shooting Competition and the Police Handgun Championship. These brought together diplomats and highlighted unity. While the CRA award acknowledged our support for ethical journalism. These milestones reflect how AdPulse aims to uplift society, not just brands.
Awards are appreciated, but true fulfilment comes from impact. Our mission is to keep building trust, fostering partnerships, and supporting national growth.
